Congratulations to the Elkettes of Pojoaque, who defeated Portales in the clash for the 3A title.
While Portales made progressive improvements as the match wore on, 25-16, 25-18, 25-22, the adjustments were too little, too late. Pojoaque came out swinging and I don’t know if Portales ever got a chance to dig in.
Speed kills, and that’s one thing the Elkettes have….along with the Blue Trophy.
