Carlsbad player loses father, fan

The volleyball community in New Mexico lost a passionate supporter and fan in Carlsbad.

Sunnie Sutphin lost her father, Mike Sutphin, last Thursday. Sunnie is the talented libero for the Carlsbad Cavegirls as well as the Carlsbad Blackout team. Mike was an avid supporter of Sunnie and twin sister Summer in all their activities, from softball to volleyball and in Summer’s case, cheer leading.

Please keep Sunnie and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
