Cleveland takes Cibola in four

Cleveland beat Cibola in 4 sets, 25-21, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18,  in a less than inspired match, according to head coach Ben Wallis.

Cleveland had some players sit out with injuries but Cibola played hard and dug a lot of balls. Courtney Lawson had 10 kills, Cassie house had 10 kills and 1 block. Sara Hattis had 12 kills and 3 blocks. Jordan Bruere had 45 assists and 2 aces. Marissa Calvillo had 7 aces.

Keep on eye on Thursday’s match with Rio Rancho, as the Storm look to sweep the Rams in regular season play.

Tularosa takes bite out of Mesilla Valley

The Lady Wildcats had no problems disposing of the Lady SonBlazers, beating them in three; 25-11, 25-14, 25-13. Hannah Syling lead all players with 12 kills and Ashley Porter racked up nine. Carli Jo Brill had 23 assists.

Both teams get a shot a Lordsburg; MVCS on Thursday evening and Tulie on Saturday afternoon.
