Former Oñate player makes move

Former Oñate (Organ Mountain) hitter Amirah Young has recently made the move from Trinidad State College to the University of Alaska Anchorage. Young signed with TSC after finishing up her high school career in 2020.

This recent move sees Young going from a NCJAA program to an NCAA Division II program playing in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. The Seawolves pick up a talented and athletic hitter in Young, where she averaged 4.87 K/S, 1502 attacks, and 49 blocks in 32 overall sets played in her final season with the Trojans.
